CIM Training Programs

Official CIM Training Program, hosted by Fleet Feet

The Official CIM Training Program has everything you need to run your first or your fastest marathon: experienced coaches, ability-based training plans, marathon specific seminars, race-day Premium amenities, and so much more!

All participants receive a daily training plan designed for three different goals: Finish, Improve, and Perform. Choose which schedule is right for you, and switch between schedules as needed. Work with Fleet Feet coaches every step of the way.

In-person training

  • 26-week program begins June 5
  • 18-week program begins July 31
  • One-time registration fee. Price increases as start date gets closer.
  • Offered in Sacramento, Davis, and Elk Grove. Sacramento group meets at Land Park or on the Parkway. Davis group meets at Mace Ranch Park or Fleet Feet Davis. Elk Grove group meets at Fleet Feet Elk Grove.
  • 2 group practices per week led by coaches. One weekday practice and one weekend practice per week. Typically Wednesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 7:00 AM. Sacramento also offers Tuesday 5:15 AM, Wednesday 5:45 AM, and Sunday 7:00 AM.

  • Customers can register for in-person training by itself, or add online coaching (see below)

Online coaching

  • Customers can register for online coaching by itself, or for both in-person and online coaching
  • Start training whenever
  • Monthly subscription fee (prorated if athlete starts mid-month)
  • Coached by Coach Kristina Sheehan
  • Coaching via TrainingPeaks app (free)
  • Daily training plan for three levels: Finish, Improve, Perform
  • Three tiers of coaching depending on how much customization and communication with coach the athlete wants
  • Premium amenities (see below)
