SRA Giving
The Sacramento Running Association aims to:
- Make Sacramento one of the premier running cities in the world
- Support the entire life-cycle of the Sacramento runner
- Contribute positively to Sacramento community by enhancing local sporting landscape, as well as general community health, fitness and wellness
Annually, the SRA spends over $1,000,000 directly back into the Sacramento community to achieve these goals. A significant part of this spending is on direct community giving, as the SRA annually provides financial and in-kind support to groups, individuals, events, and organizations that help SRA fulfill its mission.
SRA Giving programs focus support in three specific areas:
- youth running and fitness
- sport, team, and athlete development
- community running
- charity support programs
