Sac Running Week

September 12th-19th, 2026

Sacramento Running Week is a weeklong celebration of every running group in the Sacramento area—an open invitation to connect, explore, and run together. Throughout the week, runners of all levels can join group runs, attend social events, and discover new ways to engage with the local running community. It’s the perfect opportunity to find a group that matches your style and goals—or to try something completely new.

This citywide event brings out the runner in everyone, fostering camaraderie, shared enthusiasm, and a deeper love for the sport. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or just lacing up for your first mile, Sacramento Running Week has something for you.

Organized through the collaboration of leaders from running groups across Sacramento, this decentralized, community-driven effort is a true celebration of the people who make our city run.

Be sure to follow the official Sacramento Running Week social media account for more content and up to date announcements.

All events area subject to change. Always check with the event host frequently before attending.
