Exchange Zone Location: 4040 Manzanita Avenue, Carmichael CA

Exchange Zone Instructions:

• Special note: there are no spectators allowed beyond the security check point in the exchange zone.
• Runner #2 should know approximately how fast runner #1 will finish their leg.
• Runner #2 please be in place listening for your team name.
• Runner #1 will cross an announcer’s mat – prompting the announcer to call out the team name.
• Runner #2, once you hear your team name, step into the exchange zone and look for your partner. Please take care to listen to all staff instructions.
• Once runners connect, high five, that will be your exchanging of the ‘baton’
• Special note: we are no longer using ankle bands, your chip will be on your bib.
• Once an exchange has been made, please exit the exchange zone as quickly as you can
• Do not start prematurely or your team will be disqualified
