The In-Shape Fitness CIM Relay allows runners to participate in the marathon experience, have access to race support and enjoy the camaraderie of team competition without committing to run the 26.2-mile distance.

This is a 2-person relay only. Limited to 500 teams.

  • 260.00 per team
Relay Team Registration Guide

Step 1: Creating a Team (Team Captain)

  • Only the Team Captain is required to complete payment during the initial registration process.
  • During registration, the Team Captain will create a 4-digit team security code. This code will be required for the new teammate to join the relay team.
  • Once registration is complete, the Team Captain will receive a unique registration link. Share this link, along with the team’s 4-digit security code, with your teammate so they can select “Join a Team” during registration.
  • The Team Captain is responsible for selecting the team’s name and division during registration.
  • Team names may be updated at any time through November 16. Only the Team Captain can make these changes from their Race Roster dashboard.
  • All relay teams must be completed by November 16. After this deadline, any team changes must be made in person at the California International Marathon Expo.
  • Space is limited for this event. This event will close as soon as capacity is met.

Refund Policy:

The In-Shape Fitness CIM Relay will NOT provide refunds to registrants for ANY reason.

Race organizers will NOT provide refunds, transfers or deferrals for ANY personal conditions or circumstances that may prevent, limit, or hinder a registrant from preparing for, traveling to, or participating in the In-Shape Fitness CIM Relay (including, but not limited to, injuries, illness, travel delays, family emergencies, etc.). We do NOT provide any refunds, transfers or deferrals for registrants that are unable to participate. If you register and are unable to participate, for ANY reason, NO refund will be granted.
