Run for Good - California and Nevada Credit Unions and their business partners have raised nearly $200,000 at the 2025 Credit Union SACTOWN Run for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals throughout California and Nevada.

Over the last 15 years at the Credit Union SACTOWN Run, Credit Unions have raised over $3 million for the Children's Miracle Network. Thank you to everyone who has supported this great cause.

Packet Pick-up

Location: 4th Street just south of Capitol Mall

Saturday, April 5: 12pm – 5pm
Sunday, April, 6:
 6:30am – 8:30am
  • Have your QR code ready.
  • Preassigned Elite Runners, go straight to the solutions table for your bib.
  • Pro Tip for Saturday!  The longest lines of the day are in the morning, just as we open for business.
  • Pro Tip for Sunday!  If you are picking up your bib race morning, give yourself plenty of time to park and get through the packet line.  

Parking
Street parking is widely available in the downtown area and all downtown parking garages will be operating on their regular Saturday/Sunday schedules.  There will be some road closures race day surrounding the course.  Be sure to give yourself enough time to park and walk to the start area. 

Race Day

In-Shape Family Fitness Warm Up
Kids and 5k participants are welcome to join staff from In-Shape Family Fitness for a pre race stretch with music. Stretch will happen 10 minutes before the Miracle Mile and 10 minutes before the 5k in the start area.  
Race Start/Finish
Start and Finish lines for all races are located on Capitol Mall between 3rd St and 4th St.

Aid Stations
There will be 4 aid stations available for 10-milers and 1 aid station for the 5k. All aid stations will provide water and Precision Hydration drinks and also portable toilets. Two 10-mile aid stations will also feature Precision Energy Gels. For more aid station info click HERE.

Gear Check
Due to ample street parking in the vicinity of the start and finish lines, there will be NO gear check at this event.

Race Results and Awards

Computer kiosks will be available after the race to check your results. There will also be live results available HERE for the 5k and 10-mile. 

 

Age group awards will be available for pick-up after the races. 5k awards will be available at approximately 9:00 am. 10-mile awards will be available at approximately 10:30 am. They will be located near Packet Pick-up.  We do not ship unclaimed awards.


Post Race Festival


Runner Food
Free chicken sandwich provided by Piggyback Catering to all 10-mile finishers. Other options will be available for purchase for all runners and spectators.  

Beer Garden

The "Firestone Walker/805" Beer Garden will be located on Capitol Mall just outside the finish chute. All finishers over 21 years of age will receive a FREE post-race beer courtesy of Firestone Walker. PLEASE HAVE YOUR ID IF YOU WOULD LIKE A BEER! If you do not want to carry your ID race day, present your ID when you pick up your packet (Saturday Only) and we will give you a wrist band to wear for race day, in lieu of your ID.
