This race is produced in partnership between the Sacramento Running Association and the American River Parkway Foundation and is the Official Training Run of the California International Marathon! It is Sacramento’s only race that 100% benefits the Parkway Foundation. This year’s event has raised over $30,000 (over $245,000 since the event started in 2016) to benefit the American River Parkway Foundation and help it further it's mission of supporting the preservation and enjoyment of the Parkway, the "crown jewel" of Sacramento Parks.
