Arete is a nationwide women’s run club with a strong chapter in Sacramento! The group is for people who take running seriously – but at ANY pace. River City Rebels Running Club

The Rebels are a Sacramento-based club formed in 1994 by a handful of local runners who liked training and racing together. We now have over 100 members, both newcomers to the sport as well as those with over 20 years of running experience.

Runnin’ for Rhett is a local non-profit focused on raising money for after school youth fitness programs through adult half marathon training and fundraising events. Each year, R4R trains 3,000+ kids to run in their Run Because You Can 5K in the spring and SRA’s maraFUNrun in the fall.

Sloppy Moose Running Club

To join, simply show up at Bike Dog Brewery West Sacramento (2568 Industrial Blvd #110) at 6:30pm. Show a little early to sign in, buy some beer tokens and meet some people. Our runs are approximately 3 miles/5K and we have runners from all backgrounds and ability levels. After 5 legible sign-ins, you earn an orange Sloppy Moose shirt!

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training

Our athletes have walked away with new friends, amazing accomplishments and the sense that they did something even more important than getting in good shape.
How serious is blood cancer? Every four minutes, someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every 10 minutes, someone dies.
In exchange for training and support, you help raise money towards cures for blood cancers like leukemia — the No. 1 disease killer of children — lymphoma and myeloma.

FrontRunners/Walkers

We are a LGBTQ running and walking club that welcomes everyone including allies. We also welcome all levels of running. We sponsor several social events throughout the year, including post-run brunches.
Runs: Saturdays at 9 am at University Avenue side of the Guy West Bridge. 
During daylight savings time, they additionally meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm at McKinley Park at the tennis bleachers.

Latinos Run Sacramento
Left Right Left Run Club

Left Right Left Run Club is a running group that does a 5K midtown loop every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. We start & end at At Ease Brewing Co. We welcome all skill levels, including walkers! Midtown offers such interesting views, and we do a different route every week. The goal of our group is community! We are a chill-vibes group, who likes meeting up, being active together and encouraging one another to get out, enjoy the Sacramento views and move. One of the highlights is the post-run beer (only $5 at At Ease for runners/walkers)

We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. The route is posted the day before on Instagram, so you know where we’re headed. We meet and end at Ease Brewing Co. (1825 I Street, Sacramento – next to Ace Hardware)

 We (the Woodchuckers) run each Wednesday at 6:30 pm starting/ending at Blue Note Brewing in Woodland. It’s more of a drinking group with a running problem. We welcome all ages and athletic levels!

Latinos Run Sacramento

New Helvetia Run Club

NHRC started with a group of runners who wanted to continue the (now 10-year) beer-running tradition at New Helvetia Brewery—a family and dog- a friendly brewery that offers discount brews to the runners and also sells food. We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 pm, all year around, and run a 5K in Land Park and occasionally midtown.
