Run for Good - California and Nevada Credit Unions and their business partners have raised over $200,000 at the 2023 Credit Union SACTOWN Run for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals throughout California and Nevada.

Over the last 13 years at the Credit Union SACTOWN Run, Credit Unions have raised over $2.5 million for the Children's Miracle Network.  Thank you to everyone who has supported this great cause. 


The Credit Union SACTOWN Run will again host the USATF Masters 10-Mile Championships.  Masters runners from all over the country will compete for a national championship on the streets of Sacramento on Sunday.


Race Week Schedule

Saturday, April 1

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Packet Pick-up

Sunday, April 2
6:30 - 8:30 a.m. - Packet Pick-up 
7:30 a.m. - Miracle Mile Start
8:00 a.m. - 5k Start
8:20 a.m. - 10-Mile Start
10:00 a.m. - 10-Mile Award Ceremony for Top 3 Male/Female Finisher
11:00 a.m. - USATF Masters 10-Mile Championship Award Ceremony
11:30 a.m. - Finish Festival Closes


Packet Pick-up

Saturday Bonus!  10-mile and 5k Runners picking up their packet on Saturday ONLY will have their choice of shirt colors (Black or Mineral Blue), while supplies last.  
Saturday, April 1

  • Hours - 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. 
  • Location - Fleet Feet Sacramento (J Street)
  • Have your QR code ready
  • Elite and Masters Championship Runners, go straight to the solutions table for your bib
  • Avoid race day lines and choose your shirt color by picking up at Fleet Feet on Saturday
  • Pro Tip!  The longest lines of the day are in the morning, just as we open for business

Sunday, April 2

  • Hours - 6:30 a.m.-8:20 a.m.
  • Location - Capitol Mall between 6th and 7th Streets
  • Have your QR code ready
  • Elite and USATF Master's Runners, go straight to Solutions for your bib
  • If you are picking up your bib race morning, give yourself plenty of time to park and get through the packet line.  
Runners will need to provide their personalized QR codes for bib assignment.  If you are picking up for a friend please have their QR code as well. 
USATF Masters and Elites do not need this code.

Race Day

Parking
Street parking is generally free on Sundays in the downtown area and all downtown parking garages will be operating on their regular Sunday schedule.  There will be some road closures surrounding the course.  Be sure to give yourself enough time to park and walk to the start area. 

Gear Check
Due to ample street parking in the vicinity of the start and finish lines, there will be NO gear check at this event.

Race Start/Finish
Start and Finish lines for all races are located on Capitol Mall between 5th St and 6th St.

Race Results and Awards

Computer kiosks will be available after the race to check your results. There will also be live results available HERE for the 5k and 10-mile. 

 

Age group awards will be available for pick-up after the races. 5k awards will be available at approximately 9:00 am. 10-mile awards will be available at approximately 10:20 am. They will be located near Packet Pick-up.  We do not ship unclaimed awards.


Post Race Festival


Runner Food

Post-race water, sports drink, and snacks will be available FREE to all finishers

Post-race burritos will be provided by Baja Fresh to all 10-mile finishers.
Beer Garden

The "Firestone Walker/805" Beer Garden will be located on Capitol Mall just outside the finish chute. All finishers over 21 years of age will receive a FREE post-race beer courtesy of Firestone Walker. PLEASE HAVE YOUR ID IF YOU WOULD LIKE A BEER!
