Run the Parkway
Hello Run the Parkway Runners! Below are your final pre-race instructions. Please be sure to review all the details below for essential race day information!

This race is put on in partnership between the Sacramento Running Association and the American River Parkway Foundation and is the Official Training Run of the California International Marathon! It is Sacramento’s only race that 100% benefits the Parkway Foundation, as this year’s event has raised $30,000 (and counting!) to benefit the American River Parkway Foundation and help it further its mission of supporting the preservation and enjoyment of the Parkway, the "crown jewel" of Sacramento Parks.

Run the Parkway is the Sacramento running community's chance to give back and help maintain this treasured training venue.

Packet Pick-up
To avoid long lines we STRONGLY suggest, if at all possible, that you pick up your packet BEFORE race day.

Saturday Packet Pick-up - Saturday, November 9, 2019
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Fleet Feet Sacramento
2311 J St.
Sacramento, CA 95816

*Fun fact - The longest line of the day is right as we open for packet pick-up.

Race Day Packet Pick-up - Sunday, November 10, 2019
Starting at 6:30 a.m.
Hagan Community Park
2197 Chase Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670

Please Note: If you registered after 12:15 p.m. on 11/7 you will still need to have a bib assigned to you. Please go directly to solutions (look for the computers) and we will assign your bib at that time.

Please Note:
If you don’t pick up your packet Saturday, please arrive early to save yourself (and our volunteers!) the race morning stress of a rushed packet pick-up and a mad dash to the Start Line.

Running in the BUFF!
Are you ready to run in the BUFF? All runners will be receiving an "I SUPPORT THE PARKWAY" buff this year in lieu of a participant shirt. Wear your buff proudly on those cold morning training days leading up to your CIM race weekend and we thank you for your support of the American River Parkway.

For Our Finishers
Custom medals for all 20-Mile and Half Marathon finishers!

Please Note: Because this is a training run, there are no awards. The real awards at this event are preparing for the CIM and supporting the Parkway! However, it is timed, so results will be available at the "Results" tent in the Finish Festival.

Finish Festival
A Finish Festival featuring pizza, the Sierra Nevada beer garden, and a beautiful Parkway setting awaits all finishers. Hours are 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m. (Please Note: Please bring your ID so we can serve you your free beer in the beer garden.) Massages for runners provided by Active Bodywork and Elite Spinal and Sports Care.
Weather
The weather Sunday is looking great--partly cloudy, low winds, and a starting temperature in the high-40s and not hitting 70 degrees until just after noon. So, you’re welcome . . . and don’t overdress!
