STRIDE Olympic Days
The STRIDE Olympic Days consist of a series of FREE track meets held at SCUSD comprehensive high schools for Sacramento City Unified School District elementary school 6th graders. This culminating end-of-program spring track meet opportunity is available to all 6th graders at participating STRIDE schools.
Events:
- 100 Meters
- 4×100 Meter Relay
- 400 Meters
- Long Jump
- High Jump
- Hurdles
- Shot Put
- Turbo Javelin
- Discus
- Bootcamp
Provided FREE by SCUSD and SRA:
- School-specific t-shirt for all participants
- Participant ribbons for all events
- STRIDE medal for all participating student-athletes
- Recognition of year-long STRIDE awards
- Special STRIDE awards given during meets – Effort, Spirit and Respect
- Bus transportation from participating school to meet location and back
- Meet venue and first-class event management
- Comprehensive training manual aimed at helping you prepare your kids for the meets
