COVID-19 Event Update

Due to the public health mandates relating to COVID-19, the 2020 Red, White, and Blue Festival and the accompanying Blue Mile, scheduled for June 20, have been cancelled. All existing event registrants will be provided a full refund. You do not need to do anything, the refund will be credited back to the credit card used at registration.

The Blue Mile event will resume in 2021 on June 19, 2021, we look forward to having you join us as we bring the Road Mile back to Sacramento!

We are bringing back the MILE to Sacramento.

Run a mile with us at the inaugural Blue Mile, as we bring the road mile tradition back to Sacramento. The event benefits and celebrates Sacramento’s amazing public safety personnel and will be run during the inaugural Red, White & Blue Festival in Old Sacramento.

The event is open to all ages, genders, and abilities.  Everyone can complete a mile, so whether you are trying to see how fast you can run or just want to take part in a great, healthy community event to support our public safety personnel…come race, run, walk or participate in the Blue Mile on a unique and dynamic circuit course around historic Old Sacramento.

Waves/Divisions:

  • 9:00am – Youth (8th grade and under; boys and girls)
  • 9:15am – High School Boys
  • 9:25am – High School Girls
  • 9:35am – Competitive Men (Sub 6:30 mile)
  • 9:45am – Competitive Women (Sub 7:00 mile)
  • 9:55am – Public Safety Personnel
  • 10:10am – Open (all ages, genders, abilities)
  • 10:25am – Family/community 1/2 mile

Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-Up is available race day in old Sacramento starting at 8:00am.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds. No transfers. No deferrals. No exceptions. Once you have completed the registration process you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else, and you may not defer your entry fee to a future race.

Event Map

Course is a flat, fast two loop circuit around historic Old Sacramento. Course will feature numerous on course entertainment locations and will run along the waterfront and pass all of the historic landmarks in Old Sacramento.
