Super happy that after 5th, 3rd, and 2nd place finishes at various @ultratrailworldtour events I will finally head back to the states with my first international victory. Plus I saw about a dozen kangaroos on the course! Definitely the highlight ? . I decided to throw out my usual “stalk the competition from behind strategy” and try a little front running. Took the lead just after 11k and held on for a very fun filled victory. (Checkout Strava for details) .
