CIM Race Week Events
The 36th annual California International Marathon, organized by the Sacramento Running Association, is set for Dec. 2 at 7 a.m. 13,000 marathoners and 3,500 relay runners are registered to run, with another 4,000 runners expected to take part in the Dec. 1 5ks.
The Sacramento Running Association is hosting several events that are part of race week for CIM.

About the UC Davis Children’s Hospital Mini Marathon
The California International Marathon will hold its annual check presentation and Mini Marathon on Thursday, Nov. 29, at UC Davis Children’s Hospital (Pediatrics Unit), 2315 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA, 95817.
The check presentation will occur in the lobby of the main UC Davis Children’s Hospital at 9:45 a.m. The Mini Marathon will begin at 10:00 a.m. All attendees interested in attending the Mini Marathon must be present in the main lobby at 9:45 a.m. to gain access to the Pediatrics Unit.
Young patients are scheduled to complete a short course inside the hospital.
Members of the Sacramento Running Association board of directors, CIM professional runner Brendan Gregg, local elite athletes and hospital staff are among those scheduled to attend the event.
About the USATF Marathon Championships’ Top-10 Bib Reveal
The 10 fastest seeded males and 10 fastest seeded females will be revealed on the CIM Expo stage at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 1.
All 10 women will be called up on stage, followed by all 10 men. Following the bib presentation, the 2 fastest seeded females and 2 fastest seeded males will remain on stage for a short interview from the moderator and questions from the audience.
All top-10 seeded males and top-10 seeded females will be available following the presentation for individual interviews.
