Team Standards:

General Benefits of SRA Elite Team member are as follows below. Those athletes meeting the upper threshold times (which are 5% slower than USATF qualifying standards) will be eligible to receive some combination of coaching services, grant money, travel support, and other discounted or free services:

  1. Affiliation and identity
  2. Opportunities for group training environment
  3. Opportunities for coaching services Opportunities for financial support
  4. Opportunities for participation and travel/entry assistance for championship events
  5. Opportunities for participation and/or employment at SRA events and programs

General Duties of an SRA Elite Team member:

  • Represent the SRA competitively at the local, regional, and national level
  • Contribute positively to the group training environment of the SRA Elite Team
  • Be responsive to the Elite Team Coordinator
  • Act as an ambassador for the SRA and take part in SRA Elite Team ambassador efforts
  • Be involved in SRA events and programs
