We are all our own worst critics and goals are important – they push us to improve, but it’s also important to appreciate the progress you’ve already made. When I first took up running I couldn’t finish 3 miles without stopping to walk. Now I’m training for my third marathon. Not every race will produce a PR, but you’re still moving forward. Give yourself a break and a pat on the back for all your effort ?? .
