GETTING TO THE START
Please note: There is a significant change in how you can get to the start of your relay leg this year. Due to construction at the Convention Center, the relay bus loading location has moved to 11th St & J St. Whichever relay leg you are running, if you are taking a bus to the start of your leg you will load at 11th St & J St.
All CIM Relay participants must fill out the Relay Transportation Survey by November 8th, 2019! This form includes important pick-up and drop-off location and schedule information. Please note: Each member of your relay team must fill out this form.
Pick-up location for ALL buses to the CIM Start Line (for Leg 1 runners) or Relay Exchanges (for Leg 2, 3, and 4 runners) will be at the 11th St & J St. Legs 2, 3, and 4 DO NOT go to the marathon start line.
You do NOT need to notify us if you change your team's running order or transportation plan. Your bib is your ticket to board the bus.
DEADLINE TO COMPLETE TEAMS
The deadline to complete your relay team is November 12. Beyond the deadline, team information can only be updated at the Relay Solutions desk at the CIM Expo. Runners missing the deadline will not be guaranteed a shirt size. Any team members added or changed during the expo with have to pick up their shirts at the marathon finish line, while supplies last. If you want to guarantee your entire team will receive their desired shirt size be sure to complete your registrations before November 12.
For the first time in history, the relay is completely sold out! Teams will be able to update their teams as needed, however, we will NOT be registering any new teams for 2019. This means there will not be registration at the Expo. Team updates can still be made at the expo, but no new team registrations.
CIM EXPO – NEW LOCATION
Due to the construction occurring at the Sacramento Convention Center the 2019 CIM Expo will be at the Sleep Train Arena (1 Sports Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95834). Shuttle service from downtown will be available. Please visit our website for the most up-to-date expo information.
